Even if my older son isn’t as captured by the movies as I’d like (the younger one certainly is). Now, however, taking my kids to see a new Star Wars movie is like reliving a piece of my youth – in all the best ways. Even when the prequels came out it never really crossed my mind. ![]() Running at 150 minutes long, Episode VIII is the closest the saga has come to being a true ' epic '. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is one of the most shocking entries in the franchise, and that's only amplified by an ending that sees an evolution of the saga George Lucas started all those years ago. ![]() Obviously, as a kid, I never thought about taking my kids to see a new Star Wars movie. Major spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. I can recall waiting in line for hours with my dad to see Empire Strikes Back (back in the old days when the theater could only sell tickets for the next show – so you had to wait and wait and wait). I vividly remember seeing the original Star Wars Trilogy in theaters. Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Episode VIII) The Resistance is in desperate need of help when they find themselves impossibly pursued by the First Order. ![]()
